Erik ten Hag and Ralf Rangnick will discuss Manchester United reconstruction

Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that he will speak with the new Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag at the end of the season.

Ajax are four points clear of PSV Eindhoven and still have three games against AZ Alkmaar, Heerenveen and Vitesse Arnhem as they bid to retain the Eredivisie title.

United have two more matches but there is a 15-day gap between Saturday’s visit to Brighton and the trip to Crystal Palace on May 22.

Manchester United manager Ralf Rangnick responds to Jesse Lingard’s brother’s Instagram post

Ranknick has doubled down on its decision to deny Jesse Lingard a final appearance at Old Trafford for Manchester United.

Lingardwho ran out of contract in June, was an unused substitute in United’s last home game against Brentford and in an Instagram post his brother, Louie Scott, blasted Rangnick’s refusal to portray him as ‘classless’ .

Scott added ‘no wonder it’s the Europa Conference League’ next season and Lingard posted a picture of him looking puzzled in training at United’s Carrington Training Complex.
