Live updates, score, highlights and more

The tradition resumes on Saturday afternoon at Notre-Dame Stadium as the Irish fighting reconnect with their rivalry with Marine. Kick-off is at 3:30 p.m.

Both programs were played every year from 1927 until the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the season opening scheduled for 2020 in Ireland – 93 years in a row.

Notre Dame (7-1) is ranked # 8 in AP and USA Today polls and # 10 in CFP, and looks to keep his playoffs slim and realistic New Years Six bowl hopes against the Midshipmen (2-6).

ND Insider beat writers @EHansenNDI, @TJamesNDI and @tnoieNDI are covering the match and will have full post-match coverage, featuring South Bend Tribune photographers @TheRobFranklin and @MLCaterina.

It will be Notre Dame’s first home football game outside the United States and the first NBC-televised college football game to originate outside the United States.

If the pandemic permits, this will be the third time the two programs meet in Dublin, the first being 1996 and the most recent in 2012, the two victories for the Fighting Irish.
