Founded in 2010, Las Fotos project is an East Los Angeles nonprofit that supports self-expression, leadership skills, and the social well-being of teenage girls through photography and storytelling.

On October 23, Las Fotos Project will hold its third Foto Awards ceremony to honor six women, three young photographers and three budding professionals.

There will also be a silent auction of photographs donated by over 50 women and non-binary photographers.

For a very long time, I have been interested in photography. It wasn’t always very accessible until I joined Las Fotos Project. Being a part of this community and being recognized for my art has changed my life so much in the best possible way.
