Rolling Oaks Music Festival The annual Rolling Oaks MusicFest fundraiser will take place at the Rolling Oaks Club House from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on October 8 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 9. Participation is free. A barbecue will be sold on Saturday and a pancake brunch on Sunday.

Dance in the moonlight and howl at the moon Join the Wimberley Valley for the third annual Howl at the Moon event. Everyone is invited to come out at 8:30 p.m. on October 9 and howl at the full moon. Last year, several HOAs, bars, and subdivisions held howls. This year, Wimberley Parks and Recreation and the Wimberley Dark Sky Committee will host a Moonlight Dance and Howl on the basketball court at Blue Hole Regional Park. Come dance under the full moon to your favorite tunes from the night sky. At 8:30 p.m. we will all take a break for an organized and enthusiastic howl at the moon. It is a free event. No registration required.

Romeo and Juliet set in the 1960s by The Wimberley Players The Wimberley Players perform William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet from September 16 to October 9. HCWHC Women’s Conferences On October 10, the HCWHC will host a Women’s Talk at 4 p.m. at the Wimberley Village Library to discuss baby clothes: wraps, wraps and more with Marrissa Fehler.

Inauguration of the library The Wimberley Village Library will host a public groundbreaking ceremony on October 13 for the library expansion project. The ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. and the reception will follow.

Bootiful Flavors for a Hoot-iful Owlloween The Bootiful Aromas for a Hoot-iful Owlloween event will take place at the Wimberley Village Library on October 26 at noon with Mary Hill.

Wimberley Presbyterian Church Christmas Market On November 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wimberley Presbyterian Church located at 956 FM2325, will host the annual Christmas Market. All proceeds will go to non-profit organizations in our area.

There will be quilts and other crafts as well as baked goods. Please come and start your Christmas shopping!

RECURRING EVENTS Texas Stampede Board Game Night The locally produced Texas Stampede board game will be played behind Blanco Brew on the first Friday and Saturday of each month from 5-8 p.m.

New Farmer and Craft Market The new Farmers & Artisan Market is a community event specializing in farmer-fresh foods and connecting with local farmers and food producers; allowing people to buy their food directly from those who produce it. The market also hosts local artisan foods, crafts, art, jewelry, essential oils, and a wide variety of vendors. Join them every Thursday, 2-6 p.m. 15951 Winters Mill Pkwy on the grounds of First Baptist Church.

Wimberley Photography Club Meeting Members of the Wimberley Photography Club come together to share ideas and promote education in all areas of photography.

Members are photographers of all skill levels who enjoy capturing, printing and exhibiting their work, as well as participating in photo contests and good camaraderie.

The meetings will take place at the library every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 5:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. The first Tuesday consists of a technical or educational program or presentation. The third Tuesday will be a competition meeting. The first meeting is on Tuesday September 20 where we will share a wealth of information.

VFW Bingo The Wimberley VFW Post 6441 hosts bingo on Friday nights.
