Yes, the actress tapped into her iconic character Andy Sachs from the 2006 film, giving us a sense of nostalgia.
What made her Anne x Andy moment even more iconic was that it happened during New York Fashion Week – very TDWP from her.

Anne Hathaway dressed as Andy Sachs AND sat next to former Vogue editor Anna Wintour as they sat front row for the Michael Kors show in NYFW, and honestly Miranda Priestly would be so proud .
The 39-year-old actress arrived in NYFW with full bangs and a ponytail in true Andy Sachs style, as well as an outfit much the same as what Andy wore in the final scenes of the film.
The actress wore a long dark brown leather jacket, with her crocodile embossed leather shorts and stiletto heels.
Anne’s recreated look from the classic film was best accessorized with her appearance at fashion week, which of course went hand in hand with her seat next to Anna Wintour.
Fans of the film will know that Ms. Wintour also inspired the character of Andy’s manager, Miranda Priestly, played by Meryl Streep.
We can safely say that Andy Sachs’ return is the moment we all needed to experience 16 years later. The devil wears Prada fall.
