The Vacaville Chamber of Commerce is pleased to officially appoint Debbie Egidio as the new General Manager. Edigio has spent the past six months as Interim President and CEO. During a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Vacaville, she was chosen to occupy this position permanently.

Egidio served on the Board of Directors of the Chamber from 2010 to 2017, acting as Chairman of the Board for 2015-2016. With nearly 30 years of experience in marketing, she also runs the marketing and public relations firm DTS Egidio with her husband, Tom.

“Tom and I have been living in Vacaville since 2006 and are real fans of this city which made us feel right at home from the start – and the Chamber had a lot to do with it. It helped us quickly get to know the movers and shakers in the city, the small businesses that only the “insiders” knew about, the restaurants and shops with local charm, where to take our grandchildren to share fun and dog friendly places. to bring Sadie, our Golden Retriever, and so much more to make us feel like a part of the community, ”Egidio said.

Since starting her acting role in March 2021, she has led the annual dinner of Vacaville Chamber’s Night of Champions, a virtual town hall with US representative John Garamendi, has led three virtual Meet Your City Council meetings and participates actively on numerous committees. She also helped strengthen and maintain our relationships with the city of Vacaville, Visit Vacaville, Downtown Vacaville BID and Solano SBDC. Currently, she hosts the Vacaville Cowtown Chamber of Commerce Classic Golf Tournament and a joint blender between four local chambers and Solano Community College.

Egidio was the marketing director of what was the Vallejo Convention and Visitors Bureau and worked in the marketing department of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom when it was Marine World Africa USA. She also did public relations for Solano County Fairgrounds.
